Job Title: Director of Sales, Logistics Solutions

Summary: Vanmovers Logistics Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Sales to spearhead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and a passion for building high-performing teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the sales team consistently exceeds targets.
Key Responsibilities:
-Sales Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Vanmovers' business objectives, with a focus on expanding our market share and acquiring new clients in the logistics sector.
-Team Leadership & Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of Account Managers, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to maximize their potential and drive results.
-Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their logistics needs are met with the highest level of service.
-Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics market, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, or strategic alliances that drive growth.
-Sales Operations & Performance Management: Oversee the sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and account management.
-Monitor sales performance metrics (e.g., booked sales, revenue growth, customer acquisition) and provide regular reports to senior management.
-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimize the client experience.
Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
-Experience: 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the logistics industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
